Old Path Productions is a family owned and operated production company. Our family has been in the industry for four generations which is as long as the industry has existed. My grandfather started in the projection end of the business when he was 12 years old. He eventually retired from the industry that he loved because of the immoral content that was being presented on the screen. My dad followed in my grandfather’s path, working in the industry until he retired as well, both have since passed away. I, personally, have over 30 years experience in the industry. Working in various capacities including as a film editor for ABC. When video tape began to replace film in the studios I went to work for a private production company and eventually started my own company which is still in operation today. That company works extensively with corporations producing both video and live productions. Old Path Productions is a separate entity that I formed to produce programing for the general public that would uphold traditional American values. The Lord has blessed me with a wonderful wife and five talented children who have all worked in various aspects of our productions. Reading the credits on a program like the "Inquisition" reveals that this is indeed a family owned and operated production company.
Our name, Old Path Productions, comes from Jeremiah 6:16. In Jeremiah 6, God told Jeremiah that the people of the nation had gone astray from their godly heritage. They had even come to hate God’s Word . "The word of the Lord is unto them a reproach; they have no delight in it". God further said that "from the least of them even unto the greatest of them every one is given to covetousness". He added that they were all dealing falsely even the priests. And yet they believed that everything was fine "saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace". God goes on to say that the people were not even ashamed when they committed abominations. They no longer even blushed. God said He would bring judgment on all such people and nations. And He told Jeremiah "Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls". Many people today, just like then, refuse to walk therein. But for those who would choose to walk in the good way we are committed to the old path.
